Description

Manufacturers of Malt and Malted Ingredients for global food and drinks companies.

**In this role you will**:

- Update SAP computer system with purchase invoices in a timely manner.
- Liaise with other departments and with suppliers as appropriate to resolve queries.
- Reconcile supplier statements to SAP computer system and resolve any discrepancies.
- Pay suppliers in accordance with the terms stated in the Company’s Purchasing Policy.
- Ensure amendments to bank details are validated before BACS payments are made.
- Post customer receipts within SAP computer system.
- Correspond with customers regarding outstanding/overdue balances.
- Issue customer statements and copy invoices to customers and help resolve any discrepancies between our system and the customers.
- Clearing customer and vendor accounts in SAP, i.e., matching payments with invoices.
- Assist finance team with day-to-day tasks.
- Report to the Financial Accountant and will be part of the Finance Team.

Entry requirements

GCSE Maths and English at grades 4 or above essential. You must be able to demonstrate an aptitude for maths and numbers evidenced by your exam grades.

Training to be provided
- The learner will be studying the Assistant Accountant Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard qualification with study for the AAT Level 3 included.
- Day release to West Suffolk College.
- Functional skills will be studied if equivalent qualifications are not held.

In this role you will work a hybrid working arrangements. Some days you will be required to work in the office and some days you will be
working from home.
