Since opening its doors in 2013, our client has continued to grow and evolve. The ethos of putting a smile on people’s faces and a simple mantra of KITCHEN, BAR, and MUSIC drive the team forward.

Although the establishment is a modern and stylish bar, they hold dear the history of the Old Boathouse at Victoria works and this can be seen in many of the buildings original features which are on display throughout the bar.

When it comes to food, only homemade will do From their mouth-watering burgers to a wide variety of delicious tapas and lovely sandwiches for those only out for a light bite by the canal.

At the weekend the establishment becomes a vibrant free live music venue showcasing the best local bands and beyond.

**Are you the right person for the job?**
- At least 1 years Head Chef experience
- You must be flexible and have experience running a busy kitchen, cooking and preparing fresh food, and leading a small team
- Able to adhere to company health and hygiene policies

**What will your role look like?**
- Dealing with the day to day management of running a busy kitchen
- Working side by side with the General manager
- Doing weekly rotas
- Doing stock take and orders
- Maintaining high levels of food and kitchen safety
- Communicating well with the front of house
- Working on your own initiative
- Following a strict budget and managing invoices
- Ensuring safety and sanitation practices in the kitchen
- Managing kitchen orders and meal prep, cooking and delivering food to diners in a timely fashion
- Training new team members
- Adhering to company health and hygiene policies.
- Creating seasonal menus and specials
- Ensuring a safe working environment
- Keeping up with industry trends and having experience cooking fresh food
- Working well in a small friendly team
