We are excitedly recruiting for our night team and are looking for individuals who have compassion, a positive attitude and a desire to above all, care for those they are supporting. There are few jobs that are as rewarding as the work we do.

Supporting someone else remain central to their care and treatment is extremely humbling and an honour. Advocating the needs of another cannot be taught, it comes naturally for those who are compassionate about others.

The successful applicant must be prepared to deliver personal care of the highest standard to meet individual needs for each resident and understand that your role is more than daily tasks. It is about supporting individuals to live 'in the moment' and have an excellent quality of life.

Experience in this role is desirable but not essential as training will provided but you must possess the following qualities:

- able to pay attention to detail
- have the interests of others a priority over your own

Your typical night routine includes supporting residents to have supper and refreshments overnight, support residents complete their night time prefers and settle into bed, to promote their safety and well being overnight, to support those who wish to get up in the morning, to shower and dress ready for their day a head, promoting good nutrition throughout

THeir is a small amount of cleaning and tidying the communal areas overnight which cannot easily be done during the day whilst residents are using them. We are a team and everyone plays their role in maintaining good infection control practices.

We expect our night team to be proactive and ensure seamless 24 hour care. Nights can feel incredibly vulnerable times for those in our care and patience and consideration will be two of your biggest strengths.

Our shifts 8pm till 8am with typically 2 weekends per month. These may be alternate, together or at each end of the month to support annual leave or staff sickness.

We have staff development opportunities with our "Flying High" programme and we are keen to support staff to develop and take promotion opportunities where appropriate.

All applicants must be over 18 years old due to providing personal care in a care home setting..
