Ferry Assistant

We are looking to appoint a Ferry Assistant to work aboard the Black Tor Ferries operating between Padstow and Rock.

**Main Duties will include**:

- Welcoming passengers aboard the vessel.
- Taking payment using a cashless electronic system.
- Briefing passengers on times and states of tides.
- Operating hydraulic bow door.
- Disembarking passengers.
- Assisting in all other areas of ferry operations.

**Requirements**:
**Essential**
- Flexibility in approach to both duties involved and hours of work required.
- Friendly customer service.
- Marine Experience.

**Desirable**
- Boatmasters’ (BML) Licence.
- STCW (or approved equivalent) Sea Survival and First Aid.
- ML5 or ENG 1 Medical certification.
- DSC VHF Licence.

Relevant and appropriate training courses will be offered.

**Job Type**: Temporary contract

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to Commute:

- Padstow, Cornwall (required)
