**Job summary**:
This is an exciting opportunity to work in Victims First Jersey as an Independent Victim Advocate. Working within Victims First Jersey you will deliver all aspects of Victim and Witness care in accordance with the Victim Charter. Principally, the role will be communicating with Victims and Witnesses from a variety of different backgrounds with wide-ranging needs.

You will assess their needs and provide information about court and giving evidence and provide support at Criminal trials. The role demands a high level of sensitivity, initiate and problem solving, in particular coordinating witness arrangements. Victims First Jersey's aim is to ensure Victims and Witnesses have access to both emotional and practical support after crime and remain at the heart of the Criminal Justice System.
