Enisca Ltd are a multi-disciplinary Design, Engineering and Construction business operating in the water utility sector. This is an exciting time to join an established, growing team providing MEICA Engineering estimating support to Enisca, by creating and submitting strong, compelling, and competitive tenders.

**What you will be doing**:
The role will involve supporting senior tendering engineers working on a wide range of bids and tenders including several secured long term contracts and frameworks across the UK within the construction, water, wastewater and utilities sectors.

Using relevant industry experience, you will be expected to assist with the identification of tendering opportunities and the preparation and administration of tender submissions that meet client specifications.
- **The main tasks**:_
- Receiving and reviewing tender documents
- Analysing drawings and other documentation to identify the scope of work, conditions of contract and resources required
- Preparing activity schedules including time, material and labour variables and costs
- Liaising with clients to clarify their requirements and handling post tender enquiries
- Identifying appropriate suppliers and subcontractors from the company’s supplier database or the client’s preferred supplier list and negotiating with them to achieve competitive quotations and to secure pre-bid agreements
- Generating enquiries that accurately reflect the client’s requirements and issuing to identified suppliers and subcontractors
- Receiving and reviewing suppliers and subcontractors’ quotations to ensure they comply with client’s specification
- Populating the activity schedule with the relevant prices from selected suppliers and subcontractors
- Assessing labour, management and supervision allowances and updating activity schedule accordingly
- Carrying out compliance check to ensure tender submission meets client’s specification
- Presenting a completed activity schedule to the Bid Manager for review
- Bid follow up and tracking after tender submission
- Liaising with colleagues involved in the Contracts Division to ensure smooth transition to project delivery
- Providing information required for completion of the Tender Status report
- Working effectively as part of the tendering team
- Carrying out as required site visits to locations throughout the UK and Ireland
- Adhere to all Enisca’s HR and H&S policies and procedures.
- Undertake any other such duties considered to be commensurate with the experience of the post holder and the requirements of the post

**What you will need to succeed in this role**:

- Educated to degree level in Engineering
- 1-2 years’ experience in a same or similar role
- Hold a full UK driving licence
- Proficient in Microsoft Office packages.

**Salary**: £27,500.00-£35,000.00 per year
