About the **Field Service Engineer**
- Fully experienced Electrical Engineer with both electrical and mechanical expertise
- Experience/Knowledge of Siemens S7/ LOGO programming or desire to learn
- Experience of fault diagnosis in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic equipment.
- Experienced in maintaining waste compactors, vertical and horizontal balers
- "Can do attitude" and high level of customer service skills
- 17th Edition Electrical qualification would be advantageous
- Full driving licence is essential

The ideal **Field Service Engineer**will:

- Complete servicing of Waste Handling Systems comprising of balers, compactors, shredders, conveyors, tippers, and other waste handling equipment.
- Installing new equipment
- Evaluating and resolving electrical and mechanical problems and supporting local service Engineers
- Fault diagnosis and repairs
- Preventative maintenance, servicing machines, and highlighting potential issues.
- Provide machine training for onsite operatives.
- Installation and decommissioning of machines.
- Carry out L.O.L.E.R Inspections on lifting equipment.
- Accurately document breakdown visits / service visits on your tablet, taking photos.
- Highlight any parts that may be required for further works
- Hydraulics repair and replacement.
- Welding / minor fabrication if required.
- Delivering excellent customer service.
