**Job Title: Classroom Assistant (KS2)**

The Supply Room, a leading educational recruitment agency, is seeking a reliable and dedicated Classroom Assistant in Key Stage 2 at a school located in Highbury and Islington. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about supporting children's learning and development.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assisting the teacher with classroom management and organisation
- Supporting individual students with their learning needs
- Leading small group activities and interventions
- Promoting positive behaviour and creating a safe and inclusive learning environment
- Assisting with the preparation and maintenance of educational resources
- Collaborating with the teaching team to deliver effective lessons and support student progress

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working as a Classroom Assistant or in a similar role
- Knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and understanding of educational strategies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with students
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- A genuine enthusiasm for education and a commitment to supporting children's learning journey
