**Job Title**: English Teacher
**Location: **Wadeford, Chard in Somerset
**Salary Scale: **Up to £38,000 per annum depending on experience
**Contract: **Permanent
3 Dimensions School is an approved, independent special school for students aged 7 - 25 years. Our approach enables each young person to achieve their full potential. Education programs are individualised and personalised to each and every young person.
We require a qualified English teacher to join our team, to deliver our creative ‘Explore & Discover’ curriculum. Experience of teaching across a diverse range of learners and age groups is desirable; EYFS, primary and secondary.
**We need a English Teacher who is**:

- Personable and an excellent communicator
The English Teacher we are looking for, will engage our young people with their enthusiasm, passion and energy. This teacher will have the capacity and eagerness to work both inside and out of the classroom, offering exciting and engaging activities students will love.
The teacher appointed will be able to work and manage a classroom alone. A significant part of the role involves merging Explore and Discover with our outdoor education provision. Therefore, working alongside our fantastic outdoor team, offering support and direction where necessary is essential.
- Be a qualified teacher (ideally with PGCE or equivalent)
- Maintain regular assessment using existing school systems
- Input and interpret data, and create visual data
- Be proven to raise and maintain attainment levels, keeping standards high
- Be an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual who leads by example
- Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills with excellent behaviour management strategies
