**Management Accountant - FMCG - NW10 Park Royal - Up to 50k**

**Your new company**:
You'll be working for a leading FMCG/drinks company based in NW10, hybrid working with 3 days in their offices.

**Your new role**:
You'll be working as a Management Accountant from an FMCG background with a few exams left or fully qualified and will be responsible for assisting the Financial Controller and Finance Director to develop and document processes improvements, prepare, andproduce management accounts for the main trading entity including commentary, assist with the preparing management accounts for subsidiaries, and be involved in a variety of projects for Group entities.

**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**:
**Reporting and controls**
- Assist the Financial Controller in creating documented processes, policies and controls that ensure robust management of financials.
- Liaising with the rest of the Finance team to ensure the effective and timely delivery of management accounts for the main trading entity, reporting on performance.
- Liaising with the treasury team to ensure bank and credit card sales reconciliations for all accounts are performed monthly.
- Balance sheet reconciliations for all assets and liabilities are performed as part of the management accounts production process for Group companies with any differences dealt with on a timely basis.
- Intercompany account reconciliations performed monthly and all differences between Companies dealt with.
- Full responsibility for Cash Flow reporting
- Ensure accurate and timely close of year end, producing year end audit files and working closely with the Financial Controller to ensure that the audit process is efficiently managed with accounts filed on time without qualification.
- Other Ad-Hoc duties as driven by business needs

**Retro reconciliations**
- Liaise with the Commercial Analyst to ensure that supplier retro rebates are calculated and reconciled accurately, and invoices raised on a timely basis.
- Ensuring any accruals are accounted for correctly in the management accounts.

**Project work**
- There is a huge amount of change happening and whilst getting the day-to-day business in order, you will also be involved in a variety of projects as varied as supporting the Financial Controller implementing the strategic plan.

**Skills you'll need to succeed**:

- You will need to be ACCA/CIMA or equivilent finalist or fully qualified.
- FMCG background
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communicator.
- Experience of setting up procedures and policies and documenting them desired.
- Excellent IT skills including Excel and Microsoft packages.
- A training plan will be provided on the ERP system (Defacto)

**What you'll get in return**:
You'll be paid £45,000 per annum and will work a 40 hour week in a hybrid capacity (3 days in the office per week).
