**Job Title: School Cleaner**

**Pay Rate: £10.90 per hour + holiday enhancement**

**Hours per week: 12.5 hours per week (39 weeks per year, 36 Weeks term time + 2 weeks over the summer holidays + 1 week over Easter)**

**Start time from 16:30, Monday to Friday only.**

**Main Responsibilities**:
Using appropriate powered and other cleaning equipment, daily cleaning of the premises to a set programme. Duties include emptying bins, sweeping, damp mopping, dusting, vacuuming, polishing and cleaning toilet areas.

Replenish consumables in toilet areas.

Participate in major cleaning activities. This work may include such activities as internal window cleaning, scrubbing, cleaning of light fittings, walls, and high-level cleaning.

Secure doors and windows as instructed.

Reporting any building defects.

Undertake Training as required.

Attend Meetings as Directed.

Participate in the Performance Review.

Always comply with Company Health & Safety policy.

Any other duties consistent with the grade and general responsibilities of the post as may be required from time to time in addition to those listed above
