**PROFILE**

This hybrid working role is an excellent opportunity to increase your current experience of working with young people and adult offenders and victims of crime. The Remedi Cheshire team and services has been expanding over the last couple of years, and this is a great opportunity to join an exciting, innovative and dedicated team of practitioners delivering various services across the whole of Cheshire.

Your role will involve supporting individuals to understand the cause of their conflict and you will work with them to enable them to communicate effectively with each other, through Restorative Justice. This process helps reduce harm and enables individuals to move forward from what has happened. It can be facilitated through a face-to-face meeting or by acting as a go-between to pass messages between each party.

You will also be required to carry out 1:1 Restorative Awareness sessions with offenders who are on Probation.

As part of this contract we work closely with Prisons and Probation you may also be required to deliver briefings to staff, and offenders about our RJ service and RA Sessions in the community and in custody.

Additionally, you will be required to support the Got your Back Service and work with young people who have been affected by crime.

It may also be required that you support the team and contract and deliver interventions outlined under the Cheshire Police Role, such as delivery of CTEV, Hate Crime Perp Programme, Restorative Awareness sessions, plus any others added to this portfolio as this service expands.

**WHAT TO EXPECT**:The role covers several locations across Cheshire. Expenses are covered but to be considered for the role, you must have a full UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle.

- DBS and police vetting
- Starting salary of £21,091 rising to £23,338 at the end of Year 2 in role
- 6% employer pension contribution
- 25 days leave per annum plus bank holidays.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week
