Our team based near Reading provide front-end studies, engineering, procurement and project management services for initiating and executing oil and gas field, Subsea, HVDC, renewable energy and carbon capture developments.

We are currently looking for a Indirect Procurement specialist to strengthen the team

**What will you be doing?**:

- Develop procurement strategies and plans for indirect procurement
- Sourcing and pre-qualification of potential suppliers
- Prepare and issue enquiries
- Negotiate contracts and purchase orders
- Ensure timely deliveries and correct quality in accordance with agreed budget and schedule
- Ensure that all activities related to the procurement work are performed according to established procedures, guidelines and business policy
- Follow-up, control and report progress on contracts, including field and desk expediting
- Develop and maintain supplier relations

**We think you should have**:

- Higher education degree within business and/or engineering. Relevant experience may compensate for lack of a higher education
- 5+ years of experience with procurement and/or sales in the energy industry
- Technical understanding and commercial skills
- Good understanding of customer needs
- Team-player attitude
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Strong work ethics and proactive attitude
- Flexible and solution-oriented mindset
