Vending Operator - Fresh Food Route - Full Time

Millsons is a family vending business based in East Peckham, near Tonbridge. We are continuing to grow and currently have over 500 vending machines across South East England offering hot drinks, snacks and cold drinks. We are also beginning to venture into fresh food.

Your day is planned around starting from home and only needing to return to the office for stock. Due to the nature of fresh food we need to ensure items are collected and delivered in a safe manner. The temperature of food on collection needs to be collected as well as recorded on each delivery.

We have a permanent position of Fresh Food Operator to join our family business.

Responsibilities
- Merchandising products in order to maximise sales
- Record and monitor van and machine temperature
- Keep machines clean and well presented
- Manage the vans stock and order stock accordingly
- Collect and manage cash in machines
- Correctly record stock booked out to each machine or micro-market
- Maintain good communication with the office
- Have a friendly and approachable demeaner whilst on customer sites
- Ensure your van is kept clean and tidy whilst reporting any vehicle issues to the office

Physical requirements
- Able to move stock from vehicle to sites.
- Weights of up to 10 kilos - lifts/trolleys often available but may have to use stairs.
- Driving a van to various site during your working day.

This is a Full-Time position, 40 hours, worked flexibly Monday to Friday. However daily hours may vary with differing start and finish times depending on the needs of the business. Over time, holiday and staff sickness cover available.

Previous experience is not essential as full training will be provided. We use a bespoke vending software to manage the stock and equipment, a good understanding of mobile phones is essential.
