Early Years - the organisation for young children is recruiting for an **Outreach Worker** to work in **Rainbow SureStart - Belleek**.

The Outreach Worker will be responsible for working with parents-to-be and parents/carers to develop their health, wellbeing, self-esteem and self-confidence and link them into a wider social and community network. The post holder will also liaise with voluntary and statutory organisations to enhance children’s early development and health and wellbeing opportunities.

The post holder will develop and sustain cooperative working arrangements with the SureStart Manager, SureStart staff, partner organisations, other service providers and parents to achieve the outcomes set out in the SureStart Business Plan. They will ensure that high-quality services which meet the needs of children under four and their families are planned and delivered effectively.

The post holder will carry out initial registration home visits and planned follow-up home visits to families who require support.

The post holder will encourage the participation of parents in training and information sessions, provided by SureStart and within the local community in liaison with SureStart staff, and other professionals. This will include identifying appropriate support based on identified needs and ensuring systems are in place to monitor and evaluate outcomes.

Part-time hours: 18 per week

**Salary**: £22,571.00-£24,920.00 per year
