**Graduate Engineering Geologist (Geomatics, Geotechnical and Geo-Environmental), £22-27,000. **The Person**: We are looking for a highly competent graduate with a degree in science or engineering (geology, civil engineering, geography, earth or environmental sciences and, as the Bristol office specialises in Geomatics, Land Surveyingwould also be highly relevant). You will be self-motivated and keen to learn, highly client and customer service orientated as well as a strong team player who is keen to get involved and make a significant contribution to this friendly, supportive and expandingbusiness.

**The Role**: There is an opportunity to join the team in any of the 3 offices; Cambridge, Leeds or Bristol. The Cambridge and Leeds offices specialise in Geotechnical and Geo-Environmental engineering, the Bristol office works on similar projectsbut specialises in Geomatics, where you will have the opportunity to become a Civil Aviation Authority trained drone pilot and 3D landform modelling engineer.

The successful Graduate will enjoy the variety of working on a diverse range of geo-environmental projects, with exposure to a broad range of clients across the UK. They will be involved in the delivery and project management of geotechnical and contaminatedland site investigations and subsequent solutions, as well as factual and interpretive report writing. They will have the opportunity to work in all 3 offices and skill centres (if desired), being supported and developed by a highly experienced team, and beinginfluential in progressing your career according to your interests.

Graduate Engineering Geologist,**Responsibilities**:

- Site assessments for contaminated land and geotechnical projects.
- Assess potential environmental/geotechnical impacts and undertake risk assessments.
- Field supervision of drilling operations.
- Borehole logging using visual inspection.
- Soil and water sampling to industry and company guidelines.
- Factual and interpretive report writing.
- Geomatics, including aerial topographic and inspection surveys, preparation of aerial pointcloud dataset for topographical illustrations in CAD, using 3D modelling software and preparing development earthworks solutions.
- Delivery of project tasks to defined standards set out at the project outset.
- Develop client relationships and networks at a project level
- Continuous professional development

Graduate Engineering Geologist, **Requirements**:

- A relevant degree (Geology, Geography, Land Surveying, Civil Engineering etc.)
- A self-motivated and highly organised team player, with the ability to work under pressure and prioritise workloads to meet deadlines.
- Client focused with the ability to build strong client relationships
- Excellent verbal and written communication with strong attention to detail
- Valid clean UK driving licence - you will be working with clients throughout the UK so, although based locally, the flexibility to travel to client sites is essential.
