Complex Care Support Worker

The client is a 13 year old female. She frequently gets seizures. Based in Tower Hamlets. Immediate start. Must have a valid DBS, and training certificates and experience.

Interview & registration at our Canary Wharf office s compulsory.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide compassionate care and assistance to individuals in need
- Administer medications according to prescribed schedules
- Perform first aid and respond to emergencies as necessary
- Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Support individuals with behavior management and emotional support
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for individuals under your care
- Document and report any changes in health or behavior

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in senior care, home care, assisted living, or nursing home settings is preferred
- Familiarity with dementia care and understanding of the unique needs of individuals with memory loss
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols and ability to follow prescribed schedules
- Ability to drive and provide transportation for individuals as needed

**Skills**:

- Complex care
- Strong patient care skills with a focus on empathy and respect
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with individuals, families, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to manage challenging behaviors with patience and understanding
- Attention to detail in documenting observations and reporting any concerns
