** Intelligence / Investigation Analyst **(Inside IR35)**

**Contract Term: 12 Months**

**Contracting Authority: National Crime Agency (NCA)**

**Location: London - Hybrid 3 days a week or Warrington - Hybrid 3 days a week**

We are currently creating a pipeline for upcoming Intelligence / Investigation Analyst on behalf of our client the NCA.

The role will entail working collaboratively with both NCA and Home Office intel and investigation officers to tackle Organised Immigration Crime (OIC).

**As an Intelligence / Investigation Analyst your main responsibilities will be**:

- Research and analysis of intelligence to fast-paced tactical support on operational deployments.
- Each intelligence team are responsible for receiving, enhancing and disseminating all source intelligence focused on tackling serious and organised crime affecting the UK.
- Excellent decision making, communication and team working skills are required.
- Officers will require a degree of flexibility around working hours and applicants will be expected to participate in a paid-on call roster to respond to the threat as needed.

**You'll have relevant experience in**:

- Conducting complex and wide-ranging intelligence developments within a tactical/operational environment, in support of the National Crime Agency's annual plan; National Control Strategy and other identified priorities in the fight to cut serious organised crime impacting on the UK.
- Collecting, evaluating and assessing intelligence, data and information gathered from multiple sources, both sensitive and non-sensitive.
- Tactical intelligence development in support of tasked operations, using appropriate tools, techniques and systems.
- Producing, presenting and disseminating appropriate and relevant tactical intelligence outputs to inform decision making.
- Delivering briefings and presentations, making recommendations to support the decision making and risk management process.
- Ensuring appropriate and secure handling and dissemination of sensitive and non-sensitive material in accordance with relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
- Identifying, prioritising and managing risk in accordance with legislation, policy and standard operating procedures.
- IPP Intelligence Officer accreditation.
- Non-certificated IPP Intelligence Officer currently working towards this certificate as a substantive officer in an IPP aligned role (but not as an IOTP or ODP Officer.
- Equivalent experience gained from performing Intelligence Officer functions either previously or currently.
- Eligible for SC
