Landscape Gardener

We are seeking a 4-5 day a week experienced and qualified gardener in Potters Bar, Hertfordshire for a large mature family garden (approx. 2.5 acres) in good condition but which we want to improve further. The garden is a mixture of lawn, beds, hedges and mature trees and we want all to look well presented.
Applicants must have good attention to detail and an efficient working manner. Practical gardening experience and plant knowledge is essential as is experience of operating a range of garden machinery (which will be provided). A horticultural qualification would be an advantage.
Typical daily duties will include mowing and strimming, shrub pruning, management of small trees and herbaceous borders, planting, weed control and hedge cutting. Applicants should be positive, enthusiastic, self-starting with a genuine passion for gardening who wants to do a good, thorough job.
Salary based on experience, but between £23,000 and £26,000 pro rata.
