Traffic Planner

Freight Movement are a transport and logistics business based in Rogerstone, Newport NP10 9FQ with depots in Avonmouth & **Cheltenham**

We have 25 years of business experience in the transport, logistics and warehousing sector and are experiencing continued growth, our Cheltenham, Gloucestershire depot requires a pallet network traffic planner.

In the role you will be required to deal with the day to day planning of company vehicles in the delivery & collection activities of a busy pallet network depot, be responsible for the routing of company vehicles in a timely and economic structure, offer clear and concise instructions to company drivers, deal with customer advices and enquiries, monitor driver progress and report accordingly, liaise with member depots on deliveries and collections, the person must be experienced in current IT systems.

Excellent geographical knowledge of the GL postcode areas will be required.

The position is both **busy **and **rewarding** and covers all aspects of transport planning, the person will be someone who can work on their own initiative and work as part of a team.

Your hours of work will be Monday to Friday with possible Saturday shift as and when the business requires.

Start time 10.00am - Finish time 19.30pm - 1/2 hour break per day.

A back ground in transport, distribution and pallet network operations would be advantageous,

The role will require the person to hold a current counter balance forklift licence.

**Salary**: £27,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
