**About Our Client**:
Our client is a leading transport business, Rotherham based and due to company expansion require a transport planner to join their site.
- Ensuring planned routes are in line with working time directive (WTD) and drivers' hours and are maximised to full efficiency.
- Producing optimal transport plans and approving transport routes across our network, ensuring that the customer is at the centre of what we do.
- Assisting the operations team to ensure the department runs efficiently and effectively and supporting the wider department on projects, objectives, and achieving goals.
- Liaising and developing mutually respectful professional relationships with our drivers - they are the face of our business
- Ensuring the department complies with health and safety legislation and ensuring that our vehicles are running within legal limits.
- Producing cost efficient operational transport plans daily.
- Ensuring the department provides a quality first class service to the customer though careful planning.

**The Successful Applicant**:

- Previous Transport Planner experience
- Knowledge of transport legislation.
- Excellent attention to detail.
