Location: Bradford, GB, BD4 0SU- Req ID: 3872**ROLE PURPOSE**:
The assembly and testing of various types of compressors and vacuum pumps on stand-alone build rigs and benches. Typical machine types are rotary vane pumps and screw compressors. Required to be able to work daily planning boards to busy schedules and achieve set targets.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Assembling the products in accordance to build procedures and assembly drawings, whilst maintaining high quality standards.
- Managing and maintaining jigs’ fixtures and tools in area required for assembling products.
- Working to daily planning boards and achieving set targets.
- Ensuring all products meet all necessary quality requirements.
- Maintain all necessary documents and records required by the company quality systems.
- Maintain a high standard of housekeeping.
- Report any defects and quality issues immediately to Production Supervisor/Quality Engineer.
- Adherence to company health and safety procedures at all times and reporting any issues in a timely fashion.

**SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**:

- Apprentice trained (preferable).
- Experience working in a similar environment to comparable standards.
- Experience with building assemblies.
- Working to engineering drawings.
- Ability to work efficiently to deadlines.
- Good attention to detail.
- Flexible and hardworking.
- Ability to prioritise.
- Calm under pressure.
- A team player, with an efficient and proactive approach.
- Good communication and problem solving skills.

Manual lifting requirements include but not limited to the following:

- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 kgs
