Job Title: Recycling Champion

Overview: We believe that no office waste should be going to UK landfills. We are on a mission, with our team of recycling champions, to ensure the majority of office waste never does. We need your help to empower us to achieve that goal. By serving our customers and our recycling facilities day to day.

Are you ready to serve?

Reuse: You are asked to deliver all work related to organizing customer orders and fitting workplaces with new equipment. Helping on all product deliveries as required to.

Refurbishment: You are asked to deliver all work related to refurbishing furniture. Personally refurbishes desks, chairs or other items, overseeing other team members who work on refurbishing chairs and other items of furniture.

Recycling: You are asked to recycle by breaking down furniture into their material parts, then, where possible, breaking these down into manageable loads. Which are then sorted and sent back to the business to partners who buy this material. By kilo or ton.

Multi-Skill workforce: You are asked to be multi-skilled. Receiving and acting on all training given, to allow them to be able to manage all but management tasks, required of them, in the facilities area. A flexible schedule of planned work, deliveries and stock to be refurbished/recycled will be kept, weekly and monthly, giving the team as much notice as possible.

Stock Management: You, along with all facilities team members, are responsible for helping care for and manage stock. When required, helping stock take what is being held, helping add to, take from or dispose of stock, when asked. Whilst supporting a company policy which seeks to limit and manage overall stock being held at any one time, led by Patch and Dawn.

Customer Ambassadors Program: All team members working in our facilities, will be required to attend sites, as a fitter, on a weekly basis. Whilst fitting in a workplace, we expect a designated person to serve as a brand ambassador. This means they are responsible for talking the customer through the planned work, and then showcasing work completed at the end of a job. You are also responsible for presenting relevant information, to all customers that have been flagged by our management team.

League tables: Do your part and compete in our facilities league tables. Showing us that you can do what needs to be done for our customers and for our facilities area. Keeping things clean and tidy. Managing stock and facilities well. With the management team and the business remembering your efforts when it comes to quarterly and annual rewards and bonuses.

Currently we will be rewarding team members with funding for training/gym passes, trust funds, family vacations and even a work trip abroad to support our environmental goals. We are committed to supporting our long-term employees with financial contributions to help many become homeowners.

Pay: £25,500.00-£28,000.00 per year
