Piano Tutor

Your Music Academy is a fast growing music school teaching over 250 students per week across 6 professionally equipped tuition rooms. Located in Mexborough, South Yorkshire. Due to our current resident piano tutors becoming fully booked we are looking to establish shifts for a new piano tutor.
- Self employed role, teaching one to one lessons for 30, 45 or 60 minute durations
- Supporting and developing students with effective teaching methods, good communication, structure and motivation.
- Preparing students for exams, performances and auditions if needed
- Communicating with students/parents about lessons and progress
- Keeping up to date with modern methods and techniques
- Keeping record of student attendance and payments.

Role Requirements
- Reliability and excellent time keeping. A good level of practical ability and knowledge of theory
- DBS check, the school can provide one for you if you cannot.
- No formal qualifications are needed though experience teaching is preferable, however training can be provided if needed.

Hourly rates start at £16 - £18 per hour dependent on experience
