The Queen Victoria Hospital perioperative team pride ourselves on being part of a supportive multidisciplinary team with a long history of excellence.

A passionate approach to patient centred care is essential to managing our patients within this acute recovery area.

The recovery area is part of a complex dynamic perioperative suite managing a number of different specialities from day case surgery, paediatric surgery, to complex airway management and major reconstructive surgery.

Main duties are to offer a high standard of 1:1 care to our post operative patients during the Recovery phase. This will include adult and paediatric patients and include a range of anaesthetic procedures.

Advanced airway management will be offered to the successful applicant to support our acute patients and individual development needs.

This post could also appeal to ODPs and Anaesthetic Nurses that want the flexibility of working in both Anaesthetics and Recovery.
