What you will be doing:
You will own one or more ITIL process disciplines and be accountable for design, configuration, and operational delivery to support business outcomes. This includes, agreeing the ITIL discipline strategy, policy & process design with alignment to SLA's and defining associated governance & metrics (KPI's) to support business outcomes.
- Ensures that all requests for IT Services by the business are dealt with according to ITIL standards and procedures. Provides overall governance for IT across all service towers. Interfaces with and influences the Service Desk outcomes.
- Ensures Supplier/Vendor performance to ITIL processes by ensuring consistent compliance, improvement and supporting their delivery & performance through regular Service Reviews & day to day management as required.
- Is accountable to own & co-ordinate the negotiation &/or resolution of complex service management issues and disputes involving suppliers and users, arbitrating and reconciling the supplier, service and business views of the service.
- Be a point of escalation for IT Business partners to be able to support process outcomes in terms of Service Delivery where IT Service availability requires change or improvement by delivering business focused service reporting based on process performance & consumption.

- The role requires a broad understanding of IT Service Management disciplines, Service Integration and associated toolsets.
- Can demonstrate the ability to build strong and effective work relationships within Service Management, across suppliers, business users and throughout the wider IT Supply chain and internal Submarines organisation.
- Can demonstrate experience of making judgements as SME where precedent may not exist and can demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills and promote outcomes in ambiguous circumstances.
- Experience of managing service integration within a sourced multi-provider environment.
