Shop Assistant

Shop Assistant - Full time or part time available

Working in a friendly and welcoming local shop and post office in Solva, your main aim is to ensure that customers have an enjoyable shopping experience and are dealt with in a professional and polite manor. As part of this role you'll be expected to:

- Serve Customers (Cash and card payments)
- Provide friendly and considerate customer service at all times
- Follow opening and closing checks
- General cleaning duties
- Answering the telephone and taking orders
- Stack shelves and put away orders, preparing & presenting our products
- Keeping the shop well stocked and looking good
- Thinking on your feet if there’s an issue or problem to solve and be Enthusiastic and keen to learn
- Food preparation
- Follow current working practices and routines

Applicants must be over 18. Shift pattern will be days, evenings and weekends and overtime potentially available.

Desirable: Previous shop working, Food Hygiene Level 1 & 2

Full time or part time positions available

**Salary**: From £11.50 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
