Head of Property Management

They now have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Property Management o join their ever-expanding team.**
**Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for managing a number of property managers and administrators by delegating and overseeing the department
- Ensuring all properties and buildings are compliant and constantly keeping abreast of changing legislation
- Building relationships with landlords and seeing opportunities to grow managed stock
- Attend regular training and networking events
- Handling complaints and managing expectations between clients and tenants
- Identify ways to improve the department where necessary
- Staff appraisals and conducting internal training
- Set targets and host regular meetings
- Occasionally book in relevant property checks including gas, electric, EPC, PAT and more (but generally overseeing that the property managers and administrators do this)
- Ensuring all documents are processed accurately and in a timely manner
- Coordinating property inspections and write ups
Knowledge of property licensing and regulations would be desirable for the role but as a minimum, a background in Property Management is required.

There will be a requirement to have the emergency phone on a Rota system.
Hours of work to be confirmed but ideally 8-4.30pm Monday to Friday with Saturdays worked on a rota 9.30am-4pm with time back in lieu through week. During busy periods (summer changeovers) there will be a requirement to work extra to facilitate but time is again given back in lieu.
