**Maintenance Operative**:
Bouygues Energies & Services Solutions - Oxford

Bouygues Energies & Services currently has an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Craftsperson (Operative) with level II electrical or mechanical trade qualifications to join our Facilities Management team based at the John Radcliffe hospital in Oxford. This is a permanent full-time position working from 08:00 - 17:00, Monday to Friday.

**Key Activities**:

- Reporting to the Self-Delivery Supervisor / Operations Manager
- To provide technical engineering support for the Hard FM Services department and carry out preventative maintenance to deadline plus maintain paperwork to support PPM activities
- To respond to reactive and emergency faults and conduct reactive maintenance work to ensure compliance with KPI’s
- To manage Contractors as necessary
- Working 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Must hold a recognised electrical or mechanical trade apprenticeship and/or relevant qualifications to level 2 (theory and practice) in a relevant electrical or mechanical discipline with suitable industry experience.
- Experience in building services is required
- Willingness to attain cross skilling and to undertake training and qualify as an AP as required
- IT Literate
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Demonstrate good planning, organising and prioritising skills
- Ability to show examples of using initiative and judgement to resolve problems
- Experience in a Healthcare environment is advantageous
- Must have a good understanding of health and safety best practice; formal training an advantage.
