The Finance Assistant position is an integral part of the Accounts team in a growing organisation. Working in a fast-moving environment you will be expected to make key decisions and work well with limited supervision.

A high level of computer literacy will be required to maintain databases and department documentation. Working in a small but key department excellent communication skills with both internal and external sources will be a pre-requisite of any successful applicant. This is a rewarding position with a varied and challenging remit.

We are looking for a numerate, dedicated individual with a desire to learn and develop.

THE ROLE:

- Working within a small and busy finance department and reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of Credit control as part of the Credit Control team, as well as assisting within other areas of the finance department for example but not limited to Daily Banking, assisting with the Month End close procedures, reporting and analysis of Aged Debt
- You must have a solid accounts/administration background and Sales Ledger experience is preferable
- Previous accounts/finance experience would be helpful.
- Previous experience working within a numerate, data entry role where you have developed strong accuracy, cross checking information and a methodical/logical process mindset.
- Previous experience working in Credit Control, maintaining situational awareness and control of the accounts receivable ledger, using that knowledge to proactively identify issues and either resolve them satisfactorily using your own initiative within the established processes or escalate as necessary for resolution.
- Using your excellent communication skills to liaise with Customers and other departments within the business.
- Using your good organisational skills to prioritise your workload in this busy role.

09:00 to 17:30 | Monday to Friday | 60 Minute Lunch
