**Main Duties**:

- To remove sutures and clips
- To perform basic wound dressing
- To administer Flu, Pneumococcal, B12, Shingles Vaccines and Polio
- To perform new patient NHS health checks
- To measure and record patients’ blood pressure, pulse rate and rhythm, temperature, peripheral oxygen levels, height, weight, BMI, visual acuity
- To perform new patient health checks
- To raise awareness of health and well-being, promoting positive mental, physical, nutritional health with patients
- To support and monitor patients during nebulisation therapy
- To refer patients to weight management programmes
- To perform long term condition management reviews, mainly diabetes including foot checks
- To prepare specimens for investigation by the pathology laboratory
- To provide Smoking cessation

**Experience**:

- Health Care Assistant in Primary Care: 1 year (required)
- Annual diabetic patient assessment experience (required)

**Schedule**:

- 4 to 5-hour shifts weekends and weekdays, 30 minutes per appointment
