Quarry Operative

Are you looking for something different? Bored of the humdrum 9 to 5 or simply looking for a change in scenery? We’re currently recruiting for a Quarry Operative to join our operations team based in our Leinthall Quarry in Herefordshire.

Working for the largest independent construction materials business in the UK and Ireland, you’ll be provided with real, practical experience and mentoring by industry experts, plus full training in variety of mobile plant machinery.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Working with our fantastic operations teams, you’ll primarily be operating an Articulated Dump Truck, with the opportunity to turn your hand to operating other mobile plant and a variety of other jobs in the quarry. You’ll be an ideal fit for this position if you have a great sense of humour and don’t mind getting your hands dirty

**Do you have?**:

- A full UK Driving Licence - owing to the location of the quarry you will need to be able to drive your own vehicle or otherwise be able to reliably get yourself to work on time.
- A genuine interest in the construction materials industry, specifically an interest in driving heavy mobile plant machinery.
