Trainee Asbestos Surveyor

Due to continued growth, new works and new contracts, Ensafe are looking for the right person to gain a full understanding of all legislation and work towards gaining a thorough understanding of all aspects of asbestos surveys and bulk sampling for asbestos, whilst assisting qualified surveyors undertaking surveys on site. Work towards and gain P402 Building Surveys & Bulk Sampling for Asbestos.
- Undertake and pro-actively participate in the training programme, ensuring that all training records and assessments are returned to the training department on a weekly basis.
- Learn all quality and technical procedures prior to and when performing duties.
- Gain full understanding of all legislation and work towards and gain P402 Building Surveys & Bulk Sampling for Asbestos.
- Provide assistance and support to the qualified Surveyor/Senior Consultant/Consultant.
- Input site data into bespoke system whilst on site and undertake data transfer as instructed by Project Manager/Senior Consultant/Consultant.
- Undertake all toolbox talks and online training within the timescale provided
- Ensure that daily, monthly and other RPE checks are undertaken within the appropriate timescales.
- Escalate all near misses, close calls and accidents to the Health & Safety Department in a timely manner
- Ensure that all calibrated equipment issued is calibrated or returned for calibration within the required timescales.
- Undertake all necessary administrative duties including daily use of TMS. Completion of expenses claims, and any other requirement detailed in the induction booklet.
- Use of onsite client login procedures as required.
- Completion and return of all client specific paperwork as detailed in scope of works.
- Appropriate driving skills

**Salary**: From £20,350.00 per year
