**YARD FOREMAN**

Due to continued growth, Groundshore Limited is looking to recruit a Yard Foreman based at our head office in Sandbach.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise all yard personnel - lead, motivate, develop and appraise Yard Operatives to achieve a high performing team
- Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with HSE regulations
- Assess equipment damages and report to the Hire Desk and Workshop Manager accordingly
- Ensure delivery vehicles are loaded/unloaded safely and in a timely manner
- Monitor loading and stacking against picking lists
- Carry out stock takes

**Requirements**:

- Experience of managing a team in the civil engineering/construction sectors
- Ability to work overtime when needed
- A good understanding of Health & Safety standards
- A good understanding of the Statutory Transport Legislation
- Experience using a Forklift Truck/Telehandler
- Full UK Driving License

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £20.00 per hour
