**Hours of work**: 35 hours per week
**Salary**:£27,445 rising to £33,220

**About the role**

We are looking for a motivated, driven, experienced CSA Specialist Navigator to join our amazing team. In this role you will provide short-term intervention to support children, young people and their non abusive parents or carers who have been affected by current/historical child sexual abuse. This includes child sexual abuse within the family, sexual abuse perpetrated outside of the family and/or including child sexual exploitation. One of the key responsibilities will be travelling across Lambeth, Southwark, Lewisham, Bromley, Bexley, and Greenwich to deliver outreach sessions and attend CSA medicals.

**Core responsibilities of the role are, but not limited to**:

- Delivering effective and appropriate services to children, young people, and families in line with the Safer London model of work ensuring that young Londoners receive the required support to meet their individual assessed needs.
- Undertaking high quality case recording in line with the highest standards and best practice principles,
- Demonstrating a thorough knowledge of policies and procedures in relation to safeguarding and evidence-based practice
- Demonstrate a high level of resilience to effectively manage complex cases in line with Safeguarding children and young people.
- Able to work under pressure, meet deadlines and demonstrate competency by effective case management.
- Consistent case recording, attention to detail, ongoing review of cases
- Making appropriate onward referrals, signposting children, and young people to support services and positive activities.
- Working with partners, communities, and other key stakeholders to deliver the service effectively.
- Working creatively with colleagues to generate project resources and materials as required**.**
