**About the role**:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, your task is to support and drive a safety-first culture alongside improving the quality of our documentation, processes and procedures to deliver world class safety products and services to our customers.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Develop and update Quality Procedures and Documentation to align with ISO 9001 standards
- Develop a review and measurement process for effective implementation of HSE measures
- Lead and manage customer complaints
- Manage supplier quality issues as they arise and actively participate in Supplier Performance Review meetings
- Organise and facilitate internal and external audits
- Ensure that all Health & Safety policies, procedures, rules and regulations are adhered to and are regularly reviewed, updated and communicated
- Undertake a regular review of risk assessments for all work equipment and operations
- Ensure that any EHS accidents are documented, investigated and recommended improvements implemented
- Participate and lead continuous improvement projects

Managing time effectively is crucial in this role so strong planning and organisation skills are a must.

The following technical skills are essential:

- Experience of dealing with quality issues/non-conformances
- ISO 9001 standards and requirements
- Understanding of QMS
- Handling of EHS investigations
- Comprehensive knowledge of UK EHS law and regulations
- Experienced and competent in Lean techniques such as 8D, RCCM, 5 Whys
- Strong IT skills
