We are seeking a Wellbeing Worker to join our Northumberland Sensory Services to provide high quality support to our service users who are Deaf, Hard of Hearing, Deafblind or have Dual Sensory Loss. The role is based in the community and occasionally office based (Morpeth).

**As part of the Wellbeing Worker role, you will**:

- Offering information, advice, and guidance on a range of topics using appropriate communication methods
- Provide information on specialist equipment’s and their use
- Dealing with referrals
- Promoting independent living by advising and signposting to services
- Undertaking assessments, support plans and Risk Assessments
- Working with third party agencies

**To be successful in the role you will have**:

- Experience in Working with people with a sensory disabilities (Deaf, Hard of Hearing and Deafblind)
- British Sign Language Level 3 (or working towards) or native signer.
- Experience in undertaking needs-led assessments
- Experience in providing Information, Advice and Guidance
- Strong IT skills
