Housekeeper - Ophthalmology

To assist the clinical team to provide a well stocked, and tidy environment.

To ensure high standards of cleanliness, including toilet facilities, throughout all areas of the Clinic environment.

As a member of the Clinic team you will carry out the house keeping duties in accordance with Trust policies, particularly in relation to confidentiality and professional behaviour.
- Clean refrigerator, ensuring that all out of date supplies are removed and disposed of
- To clean coffee room and dispose of rubbish in the appropriately
- Check clinic areas including sluice to ensure areas are clean and tidy.
- Revisit the coffee room to ensure still clean and tidy.
- Clean out cupboards and microwave in the coffee room on a daily basis.
- Ensure surfaces are clean and tidy at all times.
- Ordering of required stock, ensuring efficient rotation.
- Support waste reduction strategies and efficiency improvement work
- Complete documentation as per Trust policy

To clean coffee room
- washing dirty pots cleaning tables emptying bins and disposing of the rubbish in the appropriate manner

Check, and clean Milk refrigerator, ensuring that all out of date supplies are removed and disposed of in the correct manner. To put away new supply of milk and Margarine

Support the Manager with mini NAPF assessments and domestic walkarounds.

Check all clinic areas to ensure they are clean and tidy.

Clean out cupboards and microwave in the coffee room regularly.

Ensure surfaces are clean and tidy at all times.
