This is a new role for an experienced Safety, Health, Environment & Quality Advisor from a construction or manufacturing background where you will have the opportunity to make the role your own and work autonomously.

As the SHEQ Advisor, you will be part of the SHEQ Department who are responsible for the management of Safety, Health, Environment & Quality systems in place within the Division. You will ensure that operating procedures are worked towards, that processesare reviewed and closed out accordingly, preparing reports, statistics and presentations as well as providing advice and guidance to employees.

This role will involve occasional travel within the UK and the willingness to work flexibly out with your standard hours as and when required. A full UK driving licence will be required.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide support to the SHEQ Manager and Senior Managers in promoting a positive Health & Safety culture and working towards continual SHEQ improvements
- Actively maintain Management Systems Iso 45001, ISO14001 & ISO9001 and assist with annual reviews of SHEQ Management Systems
- Support the business through the completion of tender & PQQ’s questionnaires Maintain supplier and contractor approved list
- Conduct SHEQ Audits and Inspections at Company premises and Projects to ensure legal compliance and identify potential Health Safety and Environmental Hazards and risks
- Attend and provide input to the monthly Health & Safety Committee meetings
- To carry out SHEQ audits, inspections, investigations, site assessments and surveys to ensure compliance with legislation and the operation of the Business Management System.
- To provide expertise and advice in developing, formulating, and communicating Health, Safety, and Environment & Quality policies, procedures and standards ensuring that all legislation, directives, procedures, and specifications are fully adhered to.
- Support and manage the development of Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality business improvement plans to deliver improved SHEQ performance across the business.
- Identify and facilitate the sharing of Best Practice and Business Improvement, ensuring compliance with HSEQ Policies & Procedures.

- Fully aware of all relevant SHEQ legislation, rules, and procedures.
- Good communication and persuasion skills.
- Thorough in-depth experience & knowledge of CDM
- Evidence of influencing and high-level communication skills both verbal and written reports.
- Ability to show analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent computer skills and proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook etc.
- Car driver with Full UK driving Licence
