This job is being advertised on behalf of Neon Contracts who is acting as a recruitment agency.

We are currently looking for an Electrical Estimator to join this team. This company provide specialist mechanical and electrical services for commercial and industrial premises of all sizes.

As a Midlands based building services company, they have over 35 years experience in the commercial and industrial environment working with a broad range of clients.

They can provide a range of building installation and maintenance services across mechanical, electrical and data sectors. They pride Themselves on being flexible in their approach in understanding their clients needs, objectives and working with their clients to provide quality and value for money.

**Duties and Responsibilities of an Electrical Estimator**:

- Organise received tender documentation, thoroughly read and understand specification, schedules, drawings, and related documents.
- Identifies any issues or concerns and utilises RFI process to gain better understanding of the ask.
- Compile accurate take off from the drawings, either by hand or with our in house bespoke software. Pull together sub-contractor packages and go out to supply chain for quotations.
- Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analysing returned information. Engages directly with Client, Team or Sub-contractor as necessary.
- Presents prepared estimates by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information.
- Maintains cost data base by entering and backing up data.
- Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing technical publications.
- Support the business in anyway necessary as appropriate when requested by Directors or Management.

**Requirements of an Electrical Estimator**:

- Excellent interpersonal and customer-facing skills;
- Good administration & timekeeping
- Logical, practical approach
- Have good oral and written communication skills;
- Enjoy a fast paced, busy environment
- Be able to analyse and solve problems/challenges
- Be able to work accurately, with good attention to detail and take pride in your output.
- Be able to use databases, spreadsheets, word processing and excel.
- Excellent numeracy skills
- Ba sic mechanical estimating knowledge

**Salary**
- £48,000 - £55,000
- 20 Days Holiday plus Bank Holidays.
