**The de Ferrers Trust**

**Working base: Staffordshire/Derbyshire**

The de Ferrers Trust is a mixed multi-academy trust based in East Staffordshire and South Derbyshire. The Trust currently consists of seven schools (three secondaries and four primaries) educating approximately 5,500 students between the ages of 3 and 19 years. The Trust employs around 700 members of staff.

Defining our Trust by size and structure isn’t, however, the measure by which our strengths and efforts should be judged.

All of our schools are in strong, or strengthening positions. Our culture is one where there is a growing sense of community, and where every individual is both valued and valuable. We are firmly committed to achieving the very best for every child, but we also work to ensure that colleagues feel as engaged and fulfilled in their work as our students do in their learning. We want people to feel empowered, motivated and belong to something meaningful.

At The de Ferrers Trust we believe in working hard, being kind and choosing wisely. We are privileged to work in communities where we have a positive impact on children’s lives and future every day.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the supportive, friendly and highly effective Early Help Team, based at The Pingle Academy, whilst assisting both our Trust academies and schools in the wider local community who buy in to our excellent Early Help offer.

You will be accountable to the Trust Early Help Services Manager and will facilitate the involvement of children, families and the wider community in our Staffordshire academies accessing appropriate support.

You will be responsible for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people (ages 3 -18) and their families by developing relationships and delivering high quality interventions, acting as their single point of contact, coordinating a holistic, temporary medium term offer of support focusing on outcomes.

You will be qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent and clearly demonstrate your experience of working with children, young people and their families in a supportive function. You will have experience of working in an education setting committed to the inclusion agenda and liaising with multi-agency services and accessing multi-agency support for schools and the community.

You will be committed to always act with integrity, honesty, loyalty and fairness to safeguard the assets, financial integrity and reputation of the Trust, and to upholding and promoting the ethos and values of the Trust. You will have high expectations for all pupils and believe in bringing out the best in all. Have the ability to work under pressure and prioritise your workload effectively.

**Continuing Professional Development**

The Trust believes that professional development is key to successful employees and offers excellent opportunities for you to grow and achieve. We provide tailored Continuing Professional Development, mentoring, support and a range of development opportunities across the Trust.

**Benefits Package**

The de Ferrers Trust offers an excellent benefit package which includes:

- Cycle to Work Scheme
- Employee Assistance Programme
- Discounted Gym Membership
- BHSF Healthcare Scheme
- Eye Care Vouchers Scheme

**How to Apply**:
Closing date: Friday 16 February 2024

Interview date: w/c 26 February 2024

Start date: Monday 15 April 2024 (or sooner if possible)

**_All applicants must be able to provide documentation to prove their right to work in the UK._
