- Site Supervisor (Passive Fire Protection)**

Due expansion, an exciting opportunity has arisen to join the project delivery team of one of Scotland’s leading passive fire protection companies, in the role of Site Supervisor, Firestopping Division. The company carry out a wide range of projects across a variety of locations within Scotland and continue to expand and grow.

**Job description**

**Role**
- Management of firestopping projects from beginning to final handover.
- Attend face-to-face and online client/consultant meetings as required, keeping a record of client specifications, requests, and expectations, and sharing this with the operations team.
- Ensure accurate site information is gathered to allow the creation of projects Construction Phase Plans and subsequently their follow-through.
- Resolve any project matters as they arise on a day-to-day basis.
- Survey the condition of existing/missing firestopping within commercial and residential premises.
- You will be required to offer specific solutions to the non-compliant areas and estimate labour time and materials required.
- Excellent time management skills - Ability to prioritise workload, often working to tight and demanding deadlines.

You will be required to work without supervision and supervise others. You will be able to communicate effectively internally and be confident with clients.

**Experience/Knowledge**:
Previous experience in preparing and issuing reports on firestopping compliance.

Offering solutions to non-compliance and effectively summarise key issues, conclusions, and recommendations.

Manage and price project requirements.

Sound knowledge and experience of firestopping, related products, and materials

Understanding of regulations for compartmentation required between floors and around risk areas, fire strategy.
- Understanding of regulations of fire doors and the need to fire stop around door frames
- An extensive understanding of Passive Fire Regulations
- To adhere to the company's quality procedures in all aspects of the job
- To act in a safe manner in accordance with Health & Safety regulations and requirements
- Must have a good working knowledge of Fire Risk and Health & Safety procedures

**Qualifications**:
BM Trada/FIRAS (or equivalent) certification; or willingness to undergo training

Competent in the use of electronic devices - smartphone, laptop, for the purposes of evidencing work as well as basic Microsoft Excel Skill

Operatives with Asbestos-awareness and first aid training preferred

CSCS Card
