**Main responsibilities include**:
- Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconciling bank statements and credit card transactions
- Assisting with budgeting and financial forecasting
- Assisting with payroll processing
- Update and monitor cash flow forecast - weekly and monthly
- Raise sales and purchase invoices as requested
- Work closely with operational teams and assist with queries
- Support improvement work streams and continuously strive to improve own operating standards and methods in order to meet and exceed targets
- To make payments and monitor spend
- Answer the telephone and deal with enquiries
- To support the Finance to ensure accurate customer invoicing and recording of cost of sales into finance system.
- Assisting with the preparation of and submitting of tax returns
**What we need**
- At least 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting
- AAT Qualified or equivalent
- You will need to have a “can do” attitude and a proactive approach to your work
- Numerate with good attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Xero software experience
- Highly organized
- Confident on the telephone
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Computer literacy - Excellent Excel/Word skills
**Salary**: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
