**We are currently recruiting for a Sheraton Club Membership Executive to support our In Room Dining and Club Lounge Departments**

**The salary for this role is £23,254.40 plus a monetised incentive based on performance and membership sales**

The Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa is ideally located in the heart of Edinburgh’s financial and tourist area and is one of Scotland's leading 5 star hotels. As the largest 5 star hotel in the city with 269 bedrooms, we also have the biggest banqueting and meeting facilities with a capacity of up to 500 and the award winning One Square Restaurant. Additionally the hotel operates the award winning One Spa, one of Europe's premier advanced city spas.

A flexible, customer-focused approach is essential, with excellent organisation and leadership skills.

**Essential Functions**
- Assist in directing and supervising the daily running of the In Room Dining and Club Lounge areas, maintaining the Sheraton Grand's standards of service, guest satisfaction and efficiency.
- Ensure your outlets are adequately equipped with operating equipment, guest supplies and restaurant accessories in line with business demands.
- When delegated by your manager you are responsible to schedule and assign staff according to reservation forecast, special activities, events, holidays, vacation and operation requirements.
- To conduct regular outlet meetings daily pre-shift briefings in each of the outlets in order to review and improve service procedures and to communicate special arrangements.
- To maintain the Food & Beverage Log to record comments, complaints, sales information, revenue and any unusual occurrences. This should be updated on a daily business.
- To ensure that all team members within your outlets are well presented and correctly groomed according to the Sheraton Grand standards.
- Responsible to ensure there is a downward flow of communication from your Manager i.e. relevant information is passed onto all team members.
- Responsible for the outlet's cash handling, float and pay-in procedures ensuring all members of your team are trained on the standard procedures and in turn they are adhered to at all times.
- Take ownership of enrolling, activating and managing Sheraton Club memberships on a month-to-month basis
- Becoming the point of contact for all Sheraton Club & VIP members, using membership recognition and building relationships.
- Attracting & recruiting new Sheraton Club members, increasing membership to drive incremental revenue
- Proactively engaging with current and perspective Sheraton Club members
- Conducting site inspection and responding to enquiries from perspective Sheraton Club members

**Requirements**:

- Ability to handle stress and cope with the pressures of the job as and when they occur

- Manage cultural needs and expectations of guests.
- Punctual attendance to each shift.
- Maintain positive teamwork at all times.
- Allocate tasks to the team to ensure all duties carried out thoroughly and on time.
- Coaching and training of the team.
