**The Role**:
This position of the IT Support Engineer is a technical support resource to the UK business and its users. The role contributes to the support, implementation, development, maintenance and configuration of the company's enterprise infrastructure and businessservices to support the corporate business strategy.
- A logical approach to incidents; looking for innovative ways to restore service to colleagues and customers as soon as possible in order to meet our business SLAs.
- Contribute, implement and support the delivery of projects across UK and Ireland in order to fulfil technical, commercial and business goals.
- Ensure the integrity and security of data and services is maintained across the regional infrastructure including, but not limited to Anti-Virus, Patch Management, Disaster Recovery and Data Security.
- Liaise with and supervise 3rd party engineers across the region, to ensure tasks are effectively completed in line with business deadlines.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation in relation to technical standards and services across the company including knowledge base, IFUs and SOPs in line with agreed processes and quality standards
- Contribution to the continued development of standards, methods and procedures within the IT team
- Support group initiatives and projects including liaising with global colleagues and the UK business to ensure projects and tasks are effectively completed in line with corporate standards
- Provide occasional out of hours support for critical IT issues.

**Requirements**:

- Experience working in an enterprise IT environment
- Knowledge of ITIL framework
- Experience working in an industrial environment would be beneficial
- Driving licence
- Strong communication and customer facing skills
- A IT related degree or Microsoft certification would be beneficial
