Domestic Cleaner/housekeeper

**We are looking for a flexible and reliable person to join our established and elite team of domestic housekeepers, to help cover holiday and other absences as and when needed.**

**This is a zero hour contract, so some weeks there may be no work, however on others there may be work every day. Our work shift is 8am-4pm.**

**PLEASE NOTE : due to the structure of the business we cannot accommodate work in between school drop off and pick up times. These will always be FULL day shifts.**

**We work through school holidays, however we do not work bank holidays.**

**For the right person this could evolve into a more permanent position with regular days of work.**

As a housekeeper at Broomsticks Housekeeping Services Ltd, your role will be to carry out domestic housekeeping duties in a timely manner and to a high standard.

Exceeding client expectations at all times, and providing exemplary customer service - you will be an ambassador of our brand.

Working within our domestic housekeeping team under the direction of the company director, your objective will be to execute meticulous domestic cleaning and housekeeping duties as specified on individual property checklists.

You will generally always work alongside one of the other members of the team.

**Key duties could include, but are not limited to**:

- Thorough dusting, polishing and de-cobwebbing, moving and cleaning all items
- Thorough washing and cleaning of sanitary fittings including toilets, plugs, tiles and all washroom furniture
- Thorough washing and cleaning of kitchen areas including cupboard fronts, sides, and appliances with occasional cleaning of ovens and fridges
- Thorough vacuuming of floors and skirting, moving light furniture where possible, and getting behind heavier furniture using vacuum attachments where necessary
- Floor cleaning, using mop and bucket rigorously to remove dirt and grime
- Cleaning of interior windows

This job requires a very good level of energy and fitness, a very keen eye for detail and proactive and positive approach.

Previous cleaning experience is not necessary as full training of our methods and the use of products and equipment will be given.
