Position: Laundress / Housekeeper

Contract: Full-time (40 hours per week)

Location: North London

**Salary**: £48,000 - £50,000 per annum

**Overview**:
We are seeking a highly discreet and meticulous individual to join our client’s team as a Laundress/Housekeeper for an UHNW family residence in North London. This role demands utmost confidentiality and professionalism, as you will be entrusted with maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and fabric care in the household.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure strict adherence by obeying, listening and reporting directly to the Head Housekeeper, fostering a close collaboration with the broader housekeeping team to maintain seamless and effective operations
- Maintain strict confidentiality and respect the privacy of the household and its occupants at all times.
- Have a deep understanding of fabric care by delicately handling valuable and luxury items of designer clothing and têxtiles.
- Exclusively manage all laundry duties, from the washing and ironing of couture garments to the meticulous folding and organisation of bespoke linens.
- Change bed linens, towels, and replenish toiletries to uphold luxurious standards of comfort.
- Execute daily cleaning tasks to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the residence.
- Help the housekeeping team maintain all areas of the property, including bedrooms, bathrooms, living spaces, and communal areas, to impeccable standards.
- Utilise and maintain specialised equipment and follow specific care instructions for delicate fabrics and items.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when the family is in residence

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a Private UHNW Household or 5 star luxury hotel environment.
- Excellent knowledge of laundry and seamstress techniques, especially with delicate and luxury materials.
- Showcase exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills, ensuring every task is executed to the highest standard of excellence.
- Strong ability to work collaboratively as part of a team of household staff
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic are essential.
- Flexibility to adapt to the changing needs and schedules of the family is crucial, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends when the family is in residence
- The right to work and live in the United Kingdom
