**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a Supervisor within the department of Immunology, Bioanalysis & Biomarkers located at our site at Clearwater House in Riccarton, Edinburgh.

The Immunology, Bioanalysis and Biomarker team consists of a dynamic group of approximately 75 researchers that support our clients as they endeavour to bring novel treatments covering a wide range of therapeutic areas to patients. This multifunctional team ensures that clients are provided with accurate and reliable data in order to satisfy the regulatory expectations associated with bringing new treatments to the market. This is accomplished using a wide variety of scientific techniques across the fields of Immunochemistry, Immunology, Cell Based Assays and Molecular Biology.
- Key responsibilities include:
- Sample receipt, management, and delivery
- Ensuring accurate records of samples
- Tube and sample preparation
- Laboratory organisation
- Designing and optimising processes and procedures
- Ensuring maintenance of fridges, freezers and other equipment
- Effective communication with stakeholders
- Line management of junior staff

Profile and Requirements
- The following are minimum requirements related to the Supervisor position:
- Experience in a CRO setting, including pre-clinical, and if possible, clinical safety studies
- Experience with managing samples, including LIMS systems
- High attention to detail
- Excellent organisational skills
- Strong communication skills
- Experience of green belt projects
- A minimum of a degree in a relevant discipline

The salary will be dependent on skills and on experience.
