Cafe Assistant

_The Diner is a busy little cafe in neath market we serve home made meals to eat in and take away. _

hours are 8am - 3pm Monday to Saturday over 2-3 days

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in food preparation and cooking
- Serve food and beverages to customers
- Clean and sanitize work areas, utensils, and equipment
- Take customer orders and process payments
- Provide excellent customer service
- Follow safer food better business guidelines
- Assist with stock rotation and restocking supplies

**Skills**:

- Previous experience in the hospitality or food industry is preferred
- Knowledge of food handling and safety procedures
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Basic math skills for cash handling

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 12-16 per week

**Salary**: £5.28-£10.42 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Catering: 1 year (preferred)
- Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

- Neath (preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

- Neath: Relocate before starting work (preferred)
