An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 4 Technical Instructor to join the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Team and Acute Respiratory Physiotherapy Team based in Glan Clwyd Hospital. The multidisciplinary team delivers pulmonary rehabilitation programmes at hospitals and community venues across Conwy and Denbighshire.

Training and ongoing development will be available from a supportive and established team.

**Job Summary/Job purpose**:
To work independently under the direction of the Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapist supporting the efficient day-to-day running of the service by providing highly skilled support work.

To deliver routine physiotherapeutic treatment programmes and delegated occupational therapy intervention plans independently and progress treatments within guidelines and protocols. To be accountable for these tasks.

To be responsible for demonstrating tasks and the use of equipment and tools to individuals and groups of service users/patients prescribed by an Occupational Therapist, demonstration and fitting of any equipment will be within the directions set by the Occupational Therapist.

To provide education sessions as part of the pulmonary rehabilitation programme

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
